A good read, Friday, October 29, 2004

Not a bad beginner's guide. Some technology is a little dated, but useful.

No, seriously. I laughed I cried,.. I began to seroiously understand the relationship between man and wi-fi. I could be writing this review from a the moon but for the lack of a large enough parabolic dish. As God as my witness I'll never snake cat. 5 through an attic again!!

Helpful and informative for newbies and non-techies, Wednesday, May 05, 2004

This book covers a lot of subject matter, some of it in more depth some of it in less. The information is helpful and the author does a good job presenting the information at a level the average person can understand (no computer degree required).

I found my self saying "Aha!" more than once, there are a lot of useful facts, and some interesting insight. It helped me identify some problems with my network, (because of how I mounted my access point on the wall... problem solved) and even gave me some bargaining points when I went shopping for a new cell phone (just say no to activation fees!).

in all, this was an easy read with information that I was actually able to apply in real life, just for that I give it five stars.
